Friends of Nature (FoN) is a Belizean-based non-governmental organization dedicated to conservation and preservation of the natural treasures with which our country is blessed. Our administrative offices are located in the Village of Placencia, Stann Creek District, Belize, Central America.

FoN co-manages Gladden Spit and Silk Cayes Marine Reserve with the Belize Fisheries Department, and Laughing Bird Caye National Park with the Belize Forestry Department.

Maintaining roots in the communities we serve, our constituency focus is with the coastal villages in the central southern region of Belize. The Chairperson of each Village Council represented sits on the FoN Board of Directors, which also comprises of representatives from Education, Tourism, Business and Government.

"Protecting our natural resources by developing our human resources." serves as our motto.
